Donna Dickie Fleetwood Rhody

November 2019

River Gallery owner, Laura Dixon, and I will join forces the weekend before Thanksgiving:

Good news that the photo below "Cape Anne Reflections" was accepted at The Mitchell Gallery's Image and Imagination exhibit.

Here's the page from the Gallery online portfolio--sorry for type quality:

As technology speeds along, so do the capabilities for printing onto various media. Here are 2 printed onto metal:

untitled
This was printed onto metal in 2018 by Bay Photo
It is very thin

"Reflections"
This was printed in 2015 by El-Co Color Labs
It was mounted on about 1/8" backing
I have used this service since 2005!
The first was a poster printed by ElCo's laser printer.

Nowadays, almost all of the online photo storage sites offer a variety of printing options.

Here are  photos printed onto different media. Both are behind glass so quality isn't the best:

"Chessie Swan" printed onto wallpaper and transparency paper.

"Venice, Manin" is printed onto iron-on paper then
ironed onto regular cotton.
I used an oil pencil to make the flowers more red

Donna Rhody is a photographer, colored pencil and watercolor artist from the Annapolis, Maryland area. To order prints contact the artist at donnafrhody@gmail.com. Most are available as note cards, 8x10, 11x14, 18x20, or poster (depending on original size). Sarah Taylor, The Framing of the Shoe prints my works. You can contact her at https://www.framingoftheshoe.com/ for further info.

My pre-2019 works can be found at http://donnarhody.blogspot.com/. These works were all shown at River Gallery since 1999.

Here's the link to Flickr albums--these are shots from trips and interests, and haven't necessarily been formatted for sale. Sales can be accomplished if you fall in love with anything. As mentioned above, depending on the original size (and resolution), we have lots of wiggle room to adjust to your size desires:

Class of 1968 - 50 Years!

A call to the alumni desk led me to park in Dogwood Drive parking lot. In 1968, this area was farmland. I believe the geography house was nearby. The student union and dining hall now occupy the area. Place 'The Commons' to the left of the photo below. I entered here, the center of the building, more to the right and... The Commons, where we ate, to the left. Student art including these covered sticks decorated the entry View from the Commons toward dorms Manokin Hall! A new entry changes its appearance. Now it, Wicomico and 2 new ones form a pretty wooded quad. View of the The Pergola from Student Union. Cheryl and I will stroll from the other end. It passes Devilbiss Hall (our science building?) to a very pretty Mall.  And here is the other end! SO pretty A sculpture viewed from The Pergola A rose is but one of many flowers around The Pergola View from the 3rd floor of the Commons of the Students' Dining
